Merino Footmuff – warm, breathable & compatible with almost all strollers and buggies
A footmuff should do three things:

Our Merino footmuff does exactly that. It naturally regulates temperature, feels incredibly soft and reliably supports you throughout your stroller days. No overheating, no sweating, no “too hot, too cold” — just a balanced, comfortable feeling on every walk.
All-season use. In summer, it becomes a seat liner.
This footmuff isn’t just made for frosty winter walks. Merino works all year round. When temperatures rise, simply remove the top layer. The back panel remains in the stroller as a breathable, ultra-soft seat liner. Perfect for spring, summer and in-between seasons.
An alternative to sheepskin
The outer layer of our footmuff is made from vegan suede — not only an animal-friendly alternative to sheepskin, but a more practical evolution. Lighter, quick-drying and breathable.
An investment that truly pays off
It doesn’t “magically” grow with your child, but it’s generously sized, ergonomically designed and thanks to the cleverly placed harness slots, you can easily adjust the fit. This allows you to use the footmuff well into the toddler years. The separate back panel can even be used much longer.
In short: it stays with you from the moment you remove the carrycot (usually once your baby can sit safely) all the way to the end of your stroller era.

Which Slot Version Do You Need?
Why are there two versions in the first place?
Because stroller brands like to do their own thing 😉 Since 2025, some stroller models no longer feature detachable shoulder straps. As we manufacture everything ourselves, we were able to respond immediately and develop an adapted version.
1. Merino Footmuff – horizontal slot version (the original)
For strollers and pushchairs with detachable shoulder and waist straps (click system, snap buttons, etc.).
Fits almost all classic models – Joolz, Bugaboo, Joie, ABC and many more.

2. Merino Footmuff – vertical slot version (2.0)
For all strollers with continuous harness systems that can no longer be opened or separated – essentially a non-detachable 5-point harness, such as the Cybex Priam.

- Maximum flexibility for modern systems
Conclusion: The vertical slot version is not a quality upgrade, but an adjustment for compatibility.
Secure a great deal! In the long term, we are transitioning fully to the 2.0 vertical slot version and selling off the remaining stock of the classic model at a special price. So it’s worth checking whether the horizontal slot version is compatible with your stroller. The reduced price is available only while stocks last.

Why Merino Wool? Because your baby shouldn’t sweat – and you shouldn’t have to worry.
Merino wool is nature’s version of high-tech. It keeps warmth in without causing overheating, absorbs moisture without feeling damp, and is naturally antibacterial. In other words: your baby stays warm, dry and comfortable, even when the weather does its own thing.
Especially practical: Merino is largely self-cleaning. Just air it out, and the footmuff feels fresh again. And if a little accident happens? Use a gentle cycle with wool detergent — done.
