The name Wakapapa reflects the New Zealand origins of our wool and symbolizes a deep connection to nature as well as our love for high-quality, sustainable materials. Wakapapa represents trust, family, and a sense of security—exactly what we aim to share with each of our products.
Drawing from my experiences as a father of three and my passion for natural materials, I founded this very special brand together with my team in the heart of the Westerwald. What unites us all is a shared love for craftsmanship and a desire to showcase natural materials in their finest form. Our products are designed to reflect the vibrant daily life with children while also standing out for their functionality, skin-friendliness, and environmental consciousness.
Our products are made from the finest Merino wool sourced from New Zealand, carefully processed in Italy before making its way to us in the Westerwald. Here, with love and craftsmanship, we create a colorful range of products: from footmuffs and hand warmers to universal fit liners and cozy blankets for both young and old.
