Our Thoughts on Certifications and Quality Seals

Quality seals are now present in many industries and are intended to signal trust and quality. However, it is often suggested that some of these seals can be easily obtained simply by paying a fee.

This raises the question of how much value truly lies behind these accolades. For us, it is crucial that our products are not just marked with a seal but also deliver genuine, verifiable quality.

We only carry quality seals or certifications that require us to truly earn them. This means we are constantly striving to select the best materials and uphold the highest standards in our craftsmanship.

Ultimately, the most rewarding recognition we can receive is the smiles and satisfaction of the children and parents who use our products. Their joy is the true measure of our work!

OekoTex Standard 100

The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 seal is incredibly important to us! It guarantees that all components of our products, such as wool, yarn, and more, are rigorously tested for harmful substances.

We place great emphasis not only on ensuring that our products are Oeko-Tex certified but also that our suppliers are! This means every step of the production process is transparent and verifiable. Every year, we submit individual components for testing and must prove that we continue to source from certified suppliers.

Additionally, random tests of our products are conducted in the open market, and every three years, an on-site audit is carried out. During this audit, our entire documentation and ongoing operations are thoroughly reviewed.

The best part? You can easily check if our certification is still valid! With this, we aim to show you that we hold ourselves to the highest standards of quality and safety – for peace of mind with every purchase!

Made in Germany

"Made in Germany" holds a special significance for us!

We source our wool from New Zealand, one of the most renowned regions for high-quality Merino wool. While we don't purchase the wool bales in Germany, all production and sewing take place here with us.

Our modern sewing facility meets the highest standards for working conditions, ensuring that we prioritize quality and fairness. This allows us to create products you can truly be proud of!

Mulesingfree

Mulesing-free animal husbandry is a core priority for us, as we place great value on animal welfare. Unfortunately, mulesing is still a common practice in wool production.

We source our wool exclusively from farms that operate without mulesing. Our partners are appropriately certified, and the wool comes from New Zealand, where mulesing is banned. This ensures that the sheep are kept in a species-appropriate manner and live respectful, dignified lives.

With this commitment, we aim to offer our customers not only high-quality products but also the peace of mind that comes with making an ethical purchase.
